2017 Annual AJCU/AUSJAL International Education Conference

Universidad Alberto Hurtado (UAH) welcomes representatives for the Jesuit International Education Conference taking place from November 8 – 10, 2017 in Santiago, Chile. The conference provides a unique opportunity to

• develop a common response in a challenging context for internationalization and Jesuit values
• articulate a plan as a global Jesuit Network
• discuss a viable, sustainable alternative to the dominant isolationist view.

Discussions will center around the following topics:

• Education Abroad/Mobility
• International students and scholars
• Partnerships/Linkages

Registration is $350 and includes coffee breaks and lunches, the networking event and a final get-together on November 10.

Conference Schedule

• Wednesday, November 8: 9:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  
• Thursday, November 9: 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, November 10: 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Final get together will follow at a restaurant or a vineyard.)

Conference Accommodations

A group of rooms have been reserved and participants must complete this form and email to ventas5@hotelneruda.cl. The cost of the room varies from $80 to $180 depending on the type of room selected. A bus will be provided to transport people from the hotel to the university and back.
